Dianne Derbyshire

Dianne started making lace in the mid 1980s.  Since then she has made and designed many pieces of lace, some just for pleasure and others for exhibitions.  She studied C&G lacemaking in mid 1990s and has studied lace design in Prague.

Her work has been displayed in many different places, designing and making to a theme.  She enjoys working with colour and textures.

Since the early 2000s Dianne has enjoyed volunteering with the Textiles Collection at Gawthorpe Hall in Lancashire, helping to catalogue the lace initially, then later just helping with the Collection in general
